Welcome the newest fixture to the Alerding Castor Hewitt office, the official New Client/Wrapped Mediation Gong.
The litigation and transaction teams didn't have a celebration worthy of new business, so partner Michael Alerding came to me with the idea to buy a ship's bell to ring for each new project. Being the orchestra nerd that I am -cello though, not percussion- I suggested a gong, and here we are today, proud owners of a 12" Zildjian Traditional Gong.
The mediation team will implement the new gong into their already-standing tradition of shouting "Boomshakalaka" after each session is successfully wrapped. Hey, what's life in a business law firm without a little fun?
