We are very proud to announce the launch of our blog site.  This idea has been a long time in coming.  Last winter I had lunch with Chris Baggott of Compendium Blogware (greatest blogware company around).  This was where I first really grabbed a hold of the concept and potential value of this tool – not just for our firm, but for our clients.  

Mike and I founded Alerding Castor, LLP just over one year ago with the vision of partnering with our clients in their success - i.e., being more than just their attorneys, but being a value-added member of their business team.  There are many law firms which publish newsletters.  I find many of these to be overly academic and a bit self-serving.  In the words of my friend, Kristian Andersen, being excellent at your craft is merely the barrier of entry into your profession - but to sustain and grow takes ingenuity, relationships and integrity.  So, rather than putting out another legal academic paper, we want to dig in and help our clients and professional partners with their day-to-day needs and by promoting our clients to others.  Our blog is intended to do just this – give a forum to share success stories, promote new and innovative ideas, provide clients with important updates to the law, and help clients and our professional affiliates connect with one another – all with the primary goal of seeing you further succeed.
