Getting Deals Done II

Sunday, January 4, 2009 by David Castor
Probably the single thing I enjoy most about being a business law attorney is that I get to help clients realize their goals, and through that, I am part of building businesses, community and culture.

This past week I helped an Indiana technology business secure a multi-year software licensing (SaaS) deal with a Global 100 corporation.  This contract was in discussions and negotiations for several months before getting signed.  As a result of the deal, several folks will be hired (thereby attracting creative talent to Indianapolis), the local business and market will grow, the business’ software tool will be further refined, and the cycle of building business, hiring employees, building community, and ultimately developing culture, will perpetuate.  Exciting stuff!
